Issues with Nraas settings

Been trying to start a few worlds, and your default imported Nraas Story Progression settings are flooding my game with constant notifications about everyone in town, even with story notifications changed to none. I've read doing a total reset can help, but as soon as I do it it automatically imports your settings again, making it pointless. I've noticed residence I dont intend to play, as I only play the one custom made family, are complaining about taking and repaying loans, going into town edit, every inactive family has less than $500, they're instantly all spending their money, changing jobs, buying extra houses etc, then when bills come they're fucked.

There is no way to uninstall any of your patches either... There are a lot of story progression addons, it would be nice to be able to pick and chose between them. I believe I found the issue for the notification spam regardless of story settings, clicking town hall and going to Nraas > Story Progression > Town options > Then at the bottom them is sotries forced: true, setting this to false stopped the forced notifications. This is your default setting so you may want to change it

According to official information found in the NRaas Forums, this notification behavior is standard for recently created worlds. Usually after a few days the notification settings are respected as expected, as I describe here.

As for Mods settings, my launcher only applies the default settings at the time a new world is created. Once you make a new configuration in Mods, and save the game, your settings must be respected and remain in your save.

As for Patches, it is possible to uninstall them, although not recommended. If you want to uninstall any patch, I wrote a guide to try to make life easier for those who want to perform this procedure. The guide can be accessed here.

First off, want to apologize, was in a bad mood yesterday, doesn't mean I should be shitty.

The option I described which was Stories forced: True/False, will ignore your selected options in the normal stories, and will tell you every notification possible until its disabled, once set to false it will respect the previous stories selection. I think its a debugging option, however the default installed settings have it set to true, so notifications will never stop regardless of settings

A new question about your NRaas settings, how could I edit the ones that are automatically imported into a game? There are some settings I'd like to change prior to it activating, like ocult sims being spawned to fill occupation roles, or sims splitting up households etc, which are all enabled in your defaults

Also, because they're downloaded s a lump package, the story progression addons, I hate playing with supernatural sims, so I disable vampires/werewolves/faries etc, and I'd like to delete the corresponding storyprogression modules, but its a little annoying that the launcher will keep saying the patch needs redownloading, would it be possible for you to look at making them modular? There aren't any issues with deleting individual storyprogression packages so long as the core one is there

Hi, about the Stories notifications, I'll check that setting.

Default settings are usually imported at the beginning of the game, when creating a new world. This should only happen once. After that, whenever you change any settings and save, the game should respect the settings you set.

If you want to edit the default settings, built into the Story Progression Patch, then you can use S3PE to edit the tuning file that should be present in the "Mods" folder of your game.

As for Supernatural Sims, you can, at the beginning of the game, disable them in the Story Progression, then use something like the Master Controller to kill/remove all Occultist Sims in the town. Then the Story Progression will only put normal Human Sims in the town, after that.

However, if you prefer to remove the Supernatural module from the Story Progression, you can use S3PE to edit it and remove all the resources inside, basically leaving an empty "package" file. This file will no longer do anything in the game, and the Launcher will not notify you that it is missing.

I'll try to think of something about editing Patches.
