Digest of GitHub issues to mailing list?

The mailing list and the GitHub issues are isolated from each other.

The W3C I18n WG, for example, connects its CJK GitHub activity to its CJK mailing list by posting a daily digest of GitHub activity to its mailing list (on days when there is activity, that is). It could be helpful if the Markup Declaration activities could be similarly connected.
