Survey 4.2.0 results

There was a RSS Guard survey with version 4.2.0. Here are some of its key results:

• 276 RSS Guard users responded,
• according to download stats, it seems that RSS Guard has about 2 000 of regular users,
• 64% of users use Windows version of RSS Guard, 46% of users run Linux port, some minor numbers use other ports,
• 71% of users use classic RSS/ATOM/JSON plugin of RSS Guard,
• from synchronised services, Feedly and Nextcloud News are used most,
• 73% of users want to have Reddit plugin added #313 and I will add it in future versions
• 63% of users use WebEngine version, rest uses NonWebEngine variant
• most of users use about 11-100 feeds
• 92% of users think that RSS Guard is fast enough
• 62% of users use DARK look in RSS Guard (this is a big surprise for me)
• 43% of users think that RSS Guard is in fact "feature complete" and only needs bug fixes from now on,
• 6% of users think that localizations to other languages suck (you can help to translate, come on guys).

Great work, javascript filtering really saves my life every day.

I like where RSS Guard is at currently, and I am completely satisfied with it. Aside from fixing any theoretical bugs, I wouldn't change anything about it. 4.x has been a great improvement.

This has full feature set while staying slim - esp. the non-web-engine version. Suggest adding .xml to OPML import dialog extensions. And way to check feeds that look inactive (i.e. newest timestamp older than threshold). Thanks for your efforts. -- Lagg.me

when having lots of feeds,rssguard eat up all memory

RSS Guard is excellent though I would like to see a better in-app browser similar to Quite RSS.

This survey makes it seem like rssgaurd needs to improve, and I think it just fine
