Unable to Publish Draft from Forks After Following Listed Steps

Hello authors. Thank you for making this template.
I am experiencing issues publishing drafts from two forks of this repository,

• https://github.com/altanai/aipref-network-privacy-control
• https://github.com/altanai/tunnel-path-selection

After following the steps and publishing the release the template says "All you have to do is tag the repository, push the tag, and await an email with further instructions." I never received the said email.

I have tried github release as well as manual release, all in vain. Can I request your help to point out any obvious mistake that i may be making ?

For one, you have underscores ('_') in the draft name:
