Mastodon can be used to detect the number of nuclei in a single stack. If detections need adjusting to different values in various ROIs, the selection box is necessary. However, this function only works with datasets containing at least two timepoints. With a single timepoint, the values in the detection table will be between 0 and 1 and thus not usable.
