First of all I love the app and what you're doing, but I would like to see some features that I miss from other book tracker apps.
Shelves and series
Adding shelves or lists to group books so you could have a shelf for some collection or series, they should be accessible in other tab rather than be displayed next to the finished, reading and others. Right now tags exist but I think their intended use is for having the genres of the book. I think having two ways for cataloguing your books, tags for genres and lists for other uses is really useful. Having a field for book series so you could add the name of the series and its number would be cool too.
More authors
Make posible to add more than one author of a book, as some are written by various people, such as anthologies or more academical books.
Tabs
I think there should be 3 tabs on the bottom: Home Screen, Books and Statistics. For the last one I don't have any suggestion but for the first two I have some.
On the home screen you should be able to see the books you're currently reading, and some of the books to read later, probably the last added (by tapping on them a new window would appear with all the books you have to read later). Another section for not finished should be included. Maybe add some summary of your statistics but not much more
On the book tab you should be able to see them grouped by shelves, grouped by tags, grouped by series (if it's included the option) and a way to see all of them where you can sort and filter as you please.
The home screen tab it's not necessary but having all the books categorisation there could feel a bit cluttered. Another option is to have all the groups in the home tab and let the book tab to be just the list o all the books you have.
This is inspired by how bookmory (the app I'm currently using) handles these things.
Some photos for reference:
Customization(?)
This might be out of scope but it would be interesting to let users customize how they see the home screen with some sort of widget system. There would be a grid layout and each component/widget (shelves group, tags group...) could be placed in the grid. The grid could have a width of 4 and widgets with size of 2x2, 2x4 or even 4x4. More or less how widgets in Android work, although I was thinking of Revolut interface in that aspect.

Thanks for considering them.
