Hello @srespiral than you for your submission.

I cannot reproduce the issue though. When I add some details in the new book screen, minimize the app, take picture and go back the details are still there.
Maybe it is your device's battery settings that kill the app in the background.

And for the option to take picture of the cover - it could be added. I will convert the bug report to idea proposal.

Hi. I've been checking the settings and I don't have background destruction enabled in the app. And same in the sys launcher. It might be an issue with my device, which is a bit old. Feel free to close the bug report if you want.
