Hello,
It is very cumbersome to use a separate interactive product installer from https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/download-without-installing.html to download the mentioned support packages IEC Certification Kit, DO Qualification Kit, and Simulink Code Inspector separately to afterwards execute the respective installer on an already matlab existing matlab installation.
Reason: If the latest update, e.g. U6, of the given matlab release, e.g. R2024b, contains a bug blocking our company development tasks, then I need to download an installer for a release update in which the bug is not contained, e.g U3 of the given matlab release.
In this case the downloaded installer via https://www.mathworks.com/help/install/ug/download-without-installing.html is only compatible with the latest release update version, i.e. already U6. Because of the latter, there is no possibility for us to download the respective installer for U3 containing those support packages without too many company processes (contacting the person who has the restrictive access rights to download those matlab installer for specific release updates). It costs too much time and money to overcome this issue. May be all our developers have to role back to a matlab release R2024b update U3 because of the bug in U6. And this is not an hipotetical situation, it has already happened and we are stuck in complex matlab installation tasks....
We need those support packages IEC Certification Kit, DO Qualification Kit, and Simulink Code Inspector to be also available via mpm installer. When do you plan to finally support this use case?
