Mattermost Omnibus will reach end-of-life with the final release v10.12 (September 2025). Starting with Mattermost v11 (October 2025), there will be no more mattermost-omnibus releases as we focus resources on deployment methods that provide better long-term value for our users.
What This Means for You:
Your current Omnibus installation will continue working exactly as it does today until you decide to migrate. However, after v10.12, you won’t receive security updates or new features through Omnibus. This is why we recommend migrating to one of our supported deployment methods, which will ensure you continue receiving security patches and feature updates.
