User receives error when trying to wrangle post in a thread, if not in the same channel as the current center channel

If I am trying to wrangle a post from a thread in "Channel A" to "Channel B", the plugin won't allow me to do this from the RHS unless "Channel A" is the current channel in the center channel pane.
