bug: regular users seem to no longer be able to attach messages

seems like since some mm server version ago non-admin users can no longer attach messages to an existing thread.

did anything around the permissions change that we might need to look at?

Edit: It works sometimes for non-admin users. I can't repeat it yet. though.

There hasn't been a permission change in the plugin in quite a while which leads me to wonder if something changed on the server side of things. I am assuming that the plugin is configured with System administrators and users from the 'Allowed Email Domain' list? Also, is the issue that the functionality is missing in the UI or is the action prevented with some type of permission error?
