Permalinks for sites with categories

I found this plugin [strapi-plugin-permalinks] while attempting to find a standard solution for permalinks of a normal site which normally has one-to-many relationships such as categories.

The standard use case is site has many categories, categories have many children categories (and therefore children categories have parents), and categories have many pages ([pages, posts, articles], pages belong to one category).

As this [strapi-plugin-permalinks] does not support many relationships are there any future plans for development towards a standard permalink structure?
