Feature Suggestion: Plattform Specific text insertion/substitution

Not sure what to call this feature request most fittingly, but I was thinking, some sort of templating syntax for platform specific text substitution would be amazing.

That way, one could mention another person/blog/… for example per default with an URL, and substitute that mention on mastodon with their mastodon handle. and on bluesky with their bluesky handle and so on.

This is very much a draft idea, as I don’t have any specific ideas for the syntax or implementation

I am not sure if I understand it right. Do you mean something like a kirbytag (mention: @user@mastodon text: I really like your blog post) and this will then send a mention with that text to the user? Or is it more like a @username which then broadcasts to the blog and the users mastodon account?

Yeah the second one I think.

For example, when I post something like I found this cool project from XYZ

I then would love to specify e.g. the Mastodon username as XYZ, the blog url on the web version and the Bluesky username for Bluesky.

I imagine this could either be a specific cross mentioning system, specifically for this exact use case, or a more generic approach, that one could post stuff like

Hey Mastodon, … to Mastodon, Hey Bluesky, … to Bluesky etc.
