Netflix Compatibility

Hi guys, I hope this is the appropriate place to write this I'm not all too familiar with GitHub.

I am really enjoying this application! I noticed however this application cannot be used when watching Netflix. If you attempt to do so, it will turn to a black screen. I assume this is something done by Netflix for security reasons to prevent recordings.

If anyone else experienced this and had some kind of work around I would be really happy! I just wanted to use this in a kind of nostalgic way to watch Inuyasha as I did when I was a child. 😄

This seems to be the case for most streaming platforms as I've also tried Viki & Crunchyroll.. I understand why these mechanisms are in place but it does make me a little sad!

Hey, yes unfortunately it's a security feature. I don't know of any workarounds, I mostly watch old shows and music videos on YT :) But if anyone does, please chip in - I will keep this open.

I actually just found the solution! I was able to successfully watch a full episode of Inuyasha this way. ^_^ In Chrome settings, you need to disable graphics accelleration. ( chrome://settings/?search=graphics+acceleration ) after that you can view just fine!

The only issue I have now is the annoying yellow border, because I am stubborn and refuse to upgrade to Windows 11. XD

Of course, it is Microsofts problem not yours. It will be solved someday when I eventually have to update!

What shaders do you use? I'd like a recommendation for a really realistic one, the problem is that my monitor isn't HDR, so it's quite limiting.
