Changelog

All notable changes to this project will be documented in this file.

The format is based on Keep a Changelog, and this project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

[v0.11.0] - 2026-04-19

Added

  • Event-driven attention detection — sessions now use lock file PID validation and events.jsonl state machine to accurately determine needs-input vs running vs failed status. Replaces the heuristic-based workspace.yaml approach which was unreliable.
  • Last assistant message in attention panel — each attention item shows the actual assistant message (💬) so you can see what's waiting on you without clicking in.
  • 24h attention cutoff — sessions older than 24 hours are filtered out of the attention panel to reduce noise from stale sessions.
  • Cost estimates — per-model token pricing (Opus/Haiku/GPT-4/default) with 💰 $X.XX shown in the stats bar and Fleet panel.
  • Model distribution — shows which AI models are being used across sessions in the Activity panel.
  • Sparkline component — reusable ▁▂▃▄▅▆▇█ renderer with trend arrows (↑↓→) for data visualization.
  • 24h activity heatmap — hourly session density strip using ░▒▓█ intensity blocks.
  • 7-day trend sparkline — daily session counts with directional trend arrow.
  • Pulse animation — ◐◓◑◒ live indicator in the Fleet panel title.

Changed

  • Attention-first layout — mission dashboard restructured with Attention as the primary panel (60% left column). Active, Recent, Fleet, and Activity panels are compact context on the right.
  • Collapsed failed sessions — failed sessions in the attention panel are collapsed into a single summary line (❌ N failed sessions) instead of one per failure.
  • Stats bar simplified — removed idle/warning counts; unified to ✋ N attention.
  • Removed Repos panel — repo breakdown removed from mission view to reduce clutter.
  • Removed Idle panel — idle sessions no longer shown in mission view.

Removed

  • Kanban view — the K key binding and kanban board view have been removed. The mission dashboard now covers all use cases better.

Fixed

  • Flaky test — TestSelectedTaskReturnsCursorSession fixed by using distinct timestamps to avoid nondeterministic sort order.

[v0.10.2] - 2026-03-30

Fixed

  • Dismissed urgent sessions no longer linger — dismissing a session from detail view now correctly removes it from all views (stats bar, mission Attention panel, counts) immediately.
  • Dismiss works from detail view — pressing x in detail view now dismisses the session you're viewing, not whatever the list cursor points at. Footer hints show the x dismiss binding.
  • Fixed panic on dismiss — dismissing a session that wasn't in the tasklist (e.g. entered detail from mission Attention panel) no longer causes a makeslice: cap out of range crash.
  • Auto-undismiss on status change — dismissed sessions that transition to failed or needs-input automatically resurface in the Attention panel. Explicitly dismissing an already-failed session keeps it dismissed.

Added

  • Source field in snapshot sessions for better debugging.
  • DismissedStore.Remove() method and NewDismissedStoreFromPath() constructor.

[v0.10.1] - 2026-03-30

Fixed

  • Reduced CPU usage — animation tick loop now stops entirely when no sessions are active and no toasts are visible, instead of ticking indefinitely. Fast animation interval slowed from 100ms to 200ms.
  • Split view caching — detail pane in split view no longer recomputes dependency graph on every render; caches by selected session ID and invalidates on data refresh.

Added

  • --profile <file> flag — captures a CPU profile (pprof format) for the duration of the session. Analyze with go tool pprof -http=:8080 <file>.

  • Active Sessions view — press A from any view to see a lazygit-style split panel focused on what your agents are doing right now
    • Left panel: compact 2-line session list with status breakdown (e.g. "3 running · 1 failed · 1 waiting")
    • Right panel: detail pane with metadata (repo, branch, PR, elapsed, model, tokens), current activity, and recent log tail from events.jsonl
    • Responsive layout: side-by-side on wide terminals (≥100 cols), stacked on narrow

  • Default theme is now Catppuccin Mocha — rich dark palette with lavender titles, surface-layered panels, and pastel accents. Previous theme available via theme: default in config.
  • Upgraded to Charm v2 ecosystem: Bubble Tea v2.0.2, Lip Gloss v2.0.2, Bubbles v2.0.0 (requires Go 1.25+)
