Feature: direct integration with AON - Browser Extension / Tampermonkey script

Since the early development of the tool, the AON website was really scarce in features. As of today, thanks to their migration to an elastic search backend, the searching capabilities of AON are now unmatched.

The effort in replicating them would be unwise, and it would add several complications to the encounter builder.

Draft of new user experience

Any feedback is welcome.

It would be more wise to put effort in developing a browser extension or a Tampermonkey script so that the user experience could be something like:

• User browse AON creatures table list or individual creatures pages
• User clicks a button (inside AON) to add/remove the creature from the encounter. Minimal DOM manipulation, least intrusive.
• pf2e-encounter single page application is live reloaded with the user choices
• ... other?

Before diving into code, I'd like to collect users feedbacks on the topic.

This is a nice idea.

Perhaps it can be integrated, similar to the "Deck of Many Things" (which I have never learned how to use), to display the number of creatures added and a list of them.

I don't know how to use that too, I asked on Discord and here is the quote from a user:

I forget where it explains it, but it’s a feature still in development. You can effectively favourite pages of AoN and quickly access them from the deck. It only does certain types of page at the moment.

I would like to reach out to the AoN staff to explore a flexible integration.
