Hi Michael,
Sorry, one of the users of a cluster that I manage told me that it was not possible to use a password with your Not1mm.
I haven’t yet had time to spend a while on it and test it. I use N1MM because I couldn’t find an alternative on Linux, but after seeing your development, I have no doubt that I’ll be testing it very soon.
It would indeed be advisable to consider data.lower, because not all cluster nodes respond in the same way.
From what I’ve been seeing of your project, it seems like a great piece of work. I think I’m really going to enjoy it, hi hi hi.
Once I have it installed, I’ll take screenshots to publish on the URE forum, to give publicity to Not1mm and to make sure users clearly know how to configure it, even if it’s trivial.
If you need anything related to DXSpider-type clusters, don’t hesitate to ask. I manage several nodes, including the URE cluster, and I’m collaborating with the DXSpider developer.
Thank you very much for your kind reply.

Michael,
I already have it configured.
It works perfectly.
What I see is that in the Callsign field, when it starts, it shows the call that has been defined in Not1mm, in my case EA3CV.
It’s quite common to also use callsigns with SSID, that is, EA3CV-7, EA3CV-22, etc.
Possibly setting a callsign in the Configuration Settings → Cluster window could be a solution for the default value that should be used, which might appear cached in BandMap → Callsign.

Hi,
Would it be possible to add a new password field to the dxcluster configuration, in addition to the username field? More and more cluster nodes are requiring authentication. The string the node sends is "password:" or "Password:" This would be a very useful feature, eliminating the need to enter it manually each time.
