Optimizing wireguard_exporter for Low-Memory Devices

Hello @mdlayher,

I recently built wireguard_exporter for my OpenWrt router, while everything else is working well, I noticed that it's consuming a high amount of RAM (at least for Low-Memory devices).
I was wondering if you could help me identify the root cause of this issue.

I appreciate the effort you put into developing this tool, and I'm hoping that you could help me come up with ideas to resolve this problem. Please let me know if you require any further information from my side to help you better understand the problem.

From top (while VSZ as high as 594m, the actual RAM usage around 12m).
