DAFoam v4.0.2 UBend_Channel tutorial Issues

Hello DAFoam community,

thank you for the amazing code.

I am trying to run the UBend_Channel tutorial using DAFoam v4.0.2 on Ubuntu, but I encounter several issues: my run script uses DASimpleTFoam, which is not recognized by my installation; it also gives errors like Option 'designVar' is not valid, Option 'objFunc is not valid and AttributeError: 'PYDAFOAM' object has no attribute 'setDVGeo'. Is there a working run script for this case compatible with v4.0.2?

I tried to modify script using ideas from other tutorials that work fine like UBend_CHT, but now i get the error AttributeError: 'PYDAFOAM' object has no attribute 'setDVGeo' and i am not sure how to fix.

Any guidance or script that works would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback. The UBend tutorial has not been updated to v4. @ChrisPsenica can you take a look?

Hi @dhpetrou ,

I just added a v4 runScript for that case. I ran it previously in DAFoam v4 and it was working without issue. Please let me know if any other issues come up with it and I can help you get it running.
