Check able items in offline shopping lists

Cant check items in when in offline mode in a shopping list

Allow Items to be checked when in offline mode
Ideally state would be stored as local state, to survive accidental refresh
Lifetime of checked state, would be until next update from server

Please consider and list out some caveats or tradeoffs made in your design decision

Think it would be OK for client state to be discarded when online again
Not sure on technical feasibility, not familiar with code base.

Could be missing something else. Is there a way to be "offline" and able to check items off the list?

If you have the Mealie PWA installed you are able to check items when offline.
They will be added to a queue and checked off when the device is back online.

Interesting, is this a bug then?

Mealie app is installed in browser, SSL is valid and service worker is active. Am i missing something?

Might be a bug, that should work. What Mealie version are you on?

Update on this, maybe somebody more familiar can point me in the right direction.

I Updated to v2.8.0 and I can still repro.

I cloned mealie-next, built the container using:
docker build --tag mealie:dev --file docker/Dockerfile --build-arg COMMIT=$(git rev-parse HEAD) .

Ran container behind ssl proxy, installed the PWA and disabled chrome networking (so im offline)
Can still repro the issue.

Ran the dev container from src, connected over http:// and disabled chrome networking, (so im offline) and and I cannot repro.

Im guessing because 3) works the issue is something going wrong when running in PWA.

I would like to debug non-minified src when running in PWA but I'm not sure how to set that up.
