Cannot sign in to Google Calendar

When I click the signin button in franz, it opens a signing page in my default browser, and since I'm already signed in there, it quickly redirects to https://calendar.google.com/.  However, the franz service never recognizes that, so it's just stuck on the signing page.

How can I auth the google calendar service in franz?
