[Option] Disable the selected active cell (remove the yellow border)

Currently when we select a cell, it's highlighted by yellow borders. But it cannot by unselected. Personnelly it causes difficulties to see if this cell is a single one, or if its belogs to a group.
Would it be possible to allow to unselect the cell (remove the yellow border) by tap again on it? Maybe in an option because everyone hasn'y the same visual difficulty than me ;)

I think I understand this issue. I will think about how to solve it - a new option may be a solution, but I want to try if the UI can be enhanced to differ between a selected cell of a single cell cage and a selected cell of a multi cell cage. This would solve your problem without an additional option.
