Hey there, Yes this is a Microsoft annoyance, that's why I sign in with a local account in Windows, to prevent this entirely. I won't be adding tweaks or functionality to revert the OneDrive filepaths though, that sounds like a lot of bug reports waiting to happen. |

Every time I reinstall Windows and log in with my Microsoft account on OOBE, it automatically logs into OneDrive.
OneDrive automatically "back up" all my files, from desktop, music, documents, etc., to C:\user[user]\onedrive\ , and I can't recover them to the original path. It's like ransomware. It changes the file paths to cloud and only gives me 5GB of space, even though my computer has over 1TB. I didn't know that; I thought my hard drive was full, but it wasn't. That's terrible.
Once, I searched online and found out that OneDrive backs up by changing your regedit file path. I actually tried to fix the path, but it wasn't completely effective.
