How to use Winhance to install W11 on unsupported PC? #558

I saw in comments of one YT video developer said Winhance can be used to install W11 on unsupported PC. I might be a little slow because I can't find this option. After selecting the ISO file you can select the XML file, but it's either to generate based on current selection in Winhance (no "don't check if supported" checkbox anywhere), or to use preconfigured one (no idea if that one has "don't check if supported" checked anywhere inside it). So, how do I actually use Winhance to to install on unsupported PC (CPU does support SSE 4.2)? Does the recommended preconfigured XML file include hardware check bypass? Thanks in advance! |

All the autounattend.xml files generated by Winhance are configured to bypass installation requirements, as well as to create a local user (no need fto sign with a microsoft account). You can generate your own file or simply use the preconfigured one, which is called UnattendWinstall. Not sure if this helps but installing 23h2 works for me on hardware that is rejected by 25h2. I then run the feature updates to get to the current version. Its not perfect but seems to work. |
