Windows 8 Compatability

I've followed your instructions to the letter and this is simply not working. I have tried adding the powershell script and the .exe file and the controller is not switching off on shutdown. The .exe does, however, work fine when run normally.

Is there an issue with this script that's preventing it from working in Windows 8? Or is this simply something obvious that I'm missing?

I've tried just adding one at a time, with the same result :(
