dot net depenance

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. try to use this without dot net framework
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?


What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win XP

Please provide any additional information below.
Would it be possible to create something that did not need the framework as a 
separate install? I know little about Windows development so I have no idea if 
this is totally unreasonable or not.

That would mean a total redevelopment from scratch. It's simpler to just 
install the framework since it's used by tons of applications (and mandatory 
for many recent MS apps as well).
