Mobile skin not working

Hello I’m having issues installing this Roundcube Mobile skin on my VPS running CentOS 6.8 x86_64

I had the server technicians install it following the instructions on your website.
However it doesn’t seem to automatically detect my iPhone 6 as a mobile device and change the skin, it still shows the desktop skin?

I tried manually changing the skin in the Roundcube Settings > User Interface and selected the “Mélanie2 Larry mobile” skin, but when I do this, it just reloads Roundcube without any CSS styling at all??

This no CSS issue happens both on the mobile device as well as on the desktop.

Any idea why this might be happening?
I would appreciate any help as I would really like to use this mobile skin for Roundcube!

Hi,
can you check:

• if rights are OK on skin and 2 plugins
• you just have 'mobile' in plugins list in your config file (not jquery_mobile)

Sorry please clarify what do you mean by "rights are OK"?

Yes the server technicians confirmed they only activated the mobile plugin and not the jquery_mobile.

Your http server user (like www-data, apache, ...) basically needs to have read/write/execute rights on files. You'll probably have to change the owner with chown command, and rights with chmod (755 is a good start).

Roundcube has logs, see what they say.

I have similiar problem, logs complain about some SQL syntax errors and the dev console says:

That jQuery Mobile seems really obsolete by the way.

There is an incompatibility between the jquery version used in RC 1.3 and Jquery mobile used in mobile skin. Please follow issue #25
