Having the wiki content as git submodule makes cross-document links complex.
It is also tricky to keep the git submodule and content shown on the Wiki page in sync and even if in sync it is not ideal for external people to see the actual state.
Proposal
Get rid of the Wiki and move the content into the main repo.
Use GitHub pages to display the content instead, maybe even best if the report output is used, because it shows the requirements and their state.
With a history, it would also be possible to show the state at different versions
