Is this the definitive new graphical user interface?

I recently updated to the latest version (v2.0.1), and without intending to offend, in my opinion, it seems that the user interface is now somewhat poorer than the old one (v1.0.1), or maybe it's just my perception.

Because of this, I wanted to ask if this is the final version of the interface or if it might be in the midst of a transition? Either way, I'm willing to help in any way I can
