iPad app: Screen saver on TV connected to the iPad caused crash

Teacher had the app using hdmi lead/ lightning cable connected to the screen to demo to the class. If screen saver comes on the app sometimes crashes

Maybe this is the tablet going to sleep mode while connected to the HDMI & TV.

Requires reproduction with a HDMI/lightning cable lead to further investigate.

Attempted to reproduce using iPadOS 26.5.2, a Sony TV, and a HDMI/lightning cable, but I could not get the TV to show screen saver. I connected the iPad with the TV, tried disconnecting and reconnecting the lightning cable, turning off and on the TV, and waiting the TV to sleep, but none seemed to cause the app to crash.

Perhaps might need to reproduce using an older iPad, or perhaps it is conflated with a separate issue where the app is known to be slow in iPad and seem to crash when collecting data.
