I was looking into various ways to adopt OTEL across all services and OTEL auto instrumentation is definitely the best option. However there are various ways this can work.

Hi,
I was looking into various ways to adopt OTEL across all services and OTEL auto instrumentation is definitely the best option. However there are various ways this can work.
One way that seems neat is to just leverage the Java OTEL Agent and not require Standalone libraries. Spring appears to have support for this unless I'm mistaken.

And then can use K8s Operators vs modifying everyone's docker images/java launch settings.
