Why do you need this change?

In Germany, there is a concept called ΓÇ£UmsatzsteuerorganschaftΓÇ¥ (VAT group). In such a structure, multiple companies are part of one VAT group and are therefore required to report Intrastat declarations under the VAT number of the VAT group (Organschaft). However, each company within the VAT group has its own individual VAT number used for regular business transactions.

Example:

VAT group (Organschaft) ΓÇô VAT number: 1234567890

Company belonging to the VAT group ΓÇô VAT number: 2345678901

On documents such as sales invoices, the company that belongs to the VAT group must use its own VAT number (2345678901).
However, when submitting the Intrastat declaration to the Federal Statistical Office, the VAT number of the VAT group (1234567890) must be used.

Currently, Business Central only allows Intrastat reporting based on the companyΓÇÖs own VAT number, but not on the VAT groupΓÇÖs VAT number. Therefore, we request an enhancement that enables companies within a VAT group to report Intrastat using the VAT number of the Organschaft while keeping their own VAT number on sales documents.

There is currently no way to make this change possible:

Here the company information is used and there is not any possibility to overwrite the exported value.

Therefore i would suggest an event similar to this:

So that the exported values could be modified in this specific situation. It would also be ok if the event is more general, but is only relevant for this specific xmlnode.

Please have a look at it. We are facing this issue with one bigger customer which has to manually replace the information within the file after the export while in older versions the change was possible with a change of the standard object.

There was already a similar request #26637 which was closed due to missing context.
