Ubuntu 18.04 LTS end of standard support is 31 May 2023

Hello,

as Nexus SS and the VMSS porter are using Ubuntu 18.04-LTS and this OS reached the end of standard support, please upgrade to Ubuntu 20.04 LTS or Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, the latest operating systems.

I have a working Ubuntu 20 DSVM. "Plain" Ubuntu still pending.

Can you post a link to your branch maybe so if/when this gets picked up some time can be saved?

For now, I've done it as a custom template. I am not sure if we'll be able to have a generic template, because the Ubuntu version is hardcoded somewhere.
