Rereview project dependencies in solution

Recently i've tried to a normal build / F5 run a project via runner or the hosting app and just didn't run what was expected due to not doing a full rebuild.

We should valid someone can do a solid F5 and just run these. This goes for tests as well.

• Runner
  • -> Modules
    • -> Dependencies (example a plugin)

As far as I know, F5 doesn't trigger a rebuild, just a build of what has been modified, but it won't force to rebuild all the dependencies.

example here are PT Run plugins. If i tweak something in PT Run plugin and just F5 with the runner set as default, the runner should see that change

Ah OK, so the ask is to have the Runner build equivalent to the solution build.
It has some pros and cons, it depends on what is the most frequent usage. Personally I always to a full clean build and after that I only build what I change and it would be annoying to have the runner check all 80+ projects every time.

No. My ask is projects need to appropriate build. I've caught in PT run a few instances where a plugin does not a dependent of Run which then when I tweaked something, it wasn't being reflected

This is to be sure our utilities are set up correctly, our tests are and the runner is as well.

Runner should only care about the utilities themselves. Those utilities bubble to their stuff

This way F5 works on the children as well as the runner.

This may primarily be a PT run issue.

I think the same issue applies to projects that are executables(e.g. KeboardManagerEngine, PowerLauncher...). Ideally, they should build if F5 is pressed as well.
