Description of the new feature / enhancement

Quick Accent is a very interesting feature! I would like to ask just another key which is missing on my (IT) keyboard, a mess for programmers.
Is that possible to add the ` backtick key and the ~ tilde key, somewhere?

My only solution for now is using the shortcut codes (Alt + 96 and Alt + 126) , which are useful but not for anyone.

Scenario when this would be used?

Probably on keyboards which do not have some special characters. As I said, the Italian Keyboard has not backtick and tilde.

I was going to ask the same thing. On some laptop keyboards without the numeric keypad and with no emulation of the numeric keypad through the fn key it is even worse: there is no direct way to input those characters.

At the moment I can use TILDE wit my Italian setup.

But yes, we need BACKTICK (`) as developers
