Description of the new feature / enhancement

Add an option to unblock using "Alt + Space" to move a window beyond the top of the monitor (to hide the title bar). Currently windows that are moved past the top of the monitor area snap back to ensure the title bar always remains visible. In other words, disable the vertical "Title Bar Guard" (feature name uncertain).

Scenario when this would be used?

It would reclaim some vertical screen space for power users relying on hotkeys to navigate. Also, many legacy games are forced to run in windowed mode due to fullscreen compatibility issues and cannot be resized. This feature would prevent the lower portion of the window from being cut off to display the unwanted title bar.

IMO, PowerToys Run should not overtake a well known, long published Windows OS hotkey, Alt + Space, unless it's providing the same or additional functionality. PowerToys Run is not the same as the window menu. Some apps also include additional functionality in the window menu (i.e., Google Chrome).

The first I do after installing PowerToys is to change Alt + Space to Win + Space so I can still use the window dialog.

Agreed, but this issue is not about the hotkey in particular. The suggestion is to allow any windowed program to be repositioned partially out of view past the top of the screen area.

New versions of Windows restrict apps form being moved upward if that would cause the title bar to go off screen. In my use case I would like to do exactly that, move the title bar out of view.

While I fully agree that the native Windows Alt+Space window menu hotkey should not conflict with the default hotkey to launch PowerToys, it is not the intended subject of this issue.

This feature request is strictly about removing the Titlebar from view as Joe pointed out.
