@yuyoyuppe Enumeration must also work without the ${} bit. The toggleswitch should add the (1) to the end of the file name or the extension - depending on what's selected at the dropdownbox.

The toggleswitch now controls whether ${} syntax is interpreted literally or as a special syntax. I guess we could add this example in the docs if more users are confused how to get the old behavior.

Okay so imagine setting the togglebutton to ON but not being aware ${} is now needed to get any numbers in the first place. Yes, very understandable that this will be confusing.

I just saw the link and found the explanation of the enumerate function.
It would be nice to have the built in help or a hover over pop-up explain the new function of the enumerate button. That it does nothing without a ${} command.
So is the sole purpose of the enumerate button to read the ${} field and act on it.

Can I use a negative increment number? Or is there a decrement command option?

Do I have to type out the complete command "increment" or can "inc" be enough to information for PowerRename to operate.

None of the options for changing the enumeration formats are working for me. The variable pattern are appearing exactly as I entered them into the Replace with field.

And this is how it looks after I click Apply. Definitely not what I wanted.

I was hoping they would look like:

• Default_Blue_16_9_03.PNG
• Default_Blue_16_9_04.PNG
• etc
