Description of the new feature / enhancement

The Screen Ruler should feature the capability to set a custom scale (e.g., mm/pixel) for both the x and y axes. This would enable measurements to be taken in the chosen scale.

Scenario when this would be used?

Allowing users to calibrate the scale would enable them to work with images and documents more accurately, which can be particularly valuable in fields like engineering, architecture, and design. It would streamline the process of taking measurements and ensure that they are consistent with the desired units.

I would love to use the Screen Ruler to make measurements in technical drawings (PDF).
