Fail Fast Exception when launching PowerToys Settings

Steps to reproduce

The issue started after updating the app from 0.66 to 0.77. The error pops up directly after starting the PowerToys settings

the powertoys settings menu would open

❌ Actual Behavior

an error pops up saying "A fail fast exception occurred. Exception handlers will not be invoked and the process will be terminated immediately". I can see that the fancy zones are working though, it is just not possible to get into the settings.

tried to run as admin or not.

updated to 0.78.0 - the issue is still there. Sometimes the settings open, but when i move the window the same error pops up.
On one of my monitors the Fancy Zone is not working even though it shows the zones in the settings.

Issue still observed in v0.88

I get this exact error on newer versions of PowerToys that prevents me from using the application too.

v0.86.0 works fine and I tried a different versions before that and they worked too.

v0.88.0 and v0.87.1 don't run and I get the error popup. I'm not sure what or exactly which update causes the issue for some people but that's the information I can give.

I'm on Windows 10 LTSC.
