For non-native English speakers (whose numbers far exceed the 367 million native English speakers, according to Wikipedia), the need to capture English words from the screen often arises for the purpose of pasting them into a dictionary for lookup. It would be much more convenient if the captured text could be automatically sent to a dictionary program. I use GoldenDict, a dictionary software that conveniently receives text from the clipboard.

Although Capture2Text can also translate the captured text, such translations are too brief and not as comprehensive as those provided by a dictionary.
