Steps to reproduce

since version 0.75.1.0 i can't update my powertoys. Before that, i usually download exe from github and it always work. So i think maybe i should use geek uninstaller to remove the old version and then it would be OK, but it still said there is a old version in my computer. So log file:

The answer is no. I searched and no entry existed. When I used geek uninstaller to remove it, I completely remove all of them, including the registry file. I sincerely hope you can help me figure it out. The useful PowerToys really help me a lot.

Maybe try both the latest machine-wide and per-user installer to see if one of them works.if none of them work please send both of their logs.

Also I find it quite interesting that the installer sets valid versions for both DetectedPowerToysVersion and DetectedPowerToysUserVersion

Wow. I dont even know what to say anymore. Now I NEED to know how the installer detects a installed powertoys version.
