Description of the new feature / enhancement

A way to split channels of the image into a RGBA or RGB components. To isolate and see only a channel or a mix of selected ones. like buttons to see each channel.

Scenario when this would be used?

For a game developer or a CG artist, it will be a helpful if it lets them see what data is in each channel.

Supporting information

See Unreal' s texture asset editor, It has toggle switches for each channel (RGBA)
