Inability to rename file extensions of files that prior had no extensions

Steps to reproduce

User cannot batch rename the file extensions of files that have no extensions.

1. Select the files, right click and choose rename with power rename, check extensions only and you are stuck. You can do nothing
   

✔️ Expected Behavior

I was expecting to be able to replace the extension without typing anything in the search box since there is no extension

❌ Actual Behavior

The Apply button is always greyed and hence process does not get completed

If you search for nothing, you're going to get nothing. It's logic. Also: you can't change something that isn't even there. Look at the solution(s) mentioned in the above issues.
