So, today I learned about the existence of a new format: SLNX. I opened this issue to track the what, when and why. I presume it'll be a big task.

Slnx is not supported by the dotnet compiler yet as far as I know, so we can't use it yet. But transforming sln to slnx os actually just a few button presses in Visual Studio.
