Steps to reproduce

I'm not sure of the specific triggering method; in my case, it just takes a long time to start cmdpal.

✔️ Expected Behavior

cmdpal has normal memory usage (<1GB)

❌ Actual Behavior

cmdpal and its plugins (I only installed one) together take up more than 4GB.

Additional Information

cmdpal develops a memory leak after running for a long time (more than several hours), using over 2GB of memory in my case. I also have the steampul plugin installed, which also uses over 1GB of memory. When I manually reclaim memory using memreduct in this situation, cmdpalUI.exe temporarily returns to normal memory usage, but steampul still maintains over 1GB of memory usage.

we can review what SteamPal sends to Command Palette to see whether Command Palette retains more data than necessary, or for longer than needed, on our side. However, we have no control over SteamPal's own process and its memory allocation.

Not only the steampal plugin, but cmdpal itself also uses a lot of memory. I have now uninstalled the steampal plugin and am observing whether the memory problem persists.

How much is a lot of memory? With a rough and generous margin, if it uses half a gigabyte long-term and without any extensions, that would be a serious problem.

Also note - in Task Manager, I find that apps that CmdPal launches get "parented" to CmdPal (rather than opened at the top level). So I frequently freak out that CmdPal is using >1GB of RAM, when really it's just outlook is nested under cmdpal's tree.
