When using the Remote Desktop plugin of Command Palette, it searches for hosts I connected to in the past. It would be great if this would allow me to also insert an arbitrary hostname & trigger an connection to it.
Scenario when this would be used?
I have mapped $ to trigger the Remote Desktop plugin so that I can just type in $mypc002 to connect to mypc002. But as this is just a search to connect to hosts I already connected to before, I cannot just submit that request.
I'm a system administrator of a larger fleet of machines. It is not that uncommon for me to wanting to connect to a "new" machine once per week.
