The checkbox Mandatory Update does not have any effect for Mac apps

The Distribute panel has got a nice checkbox “Mandatory Update”:

Unfortunately, it does not have any effect. The launched Mac app should probably check this flag and force a user to quit until you download and install the version marked as mandatory.

Thanks for letting us know. We have some Mac improvements coming up and will definitely make sure this gets fixed.
