Add TS (or Astro) unit tests

We need a way to validate that when we upgrade between new package versions, that existing functionality is not broken or lost. We suffered a recent issue when upgrading to Astro 6 broke something in how pages were served, and we lost telemetry all together for a week or so. This cannot happen!
