Avoiding 'Admin | Sync Template v3 (Flow Action Details)' flow getting started when using setup wizard?

What is your question?

As stated in the documentation we should only turn on the Admin | Sync Template v3 (Flow Action Details) flow if needed. As we have several thousand flows running and are doing a clean install of the core solution in a new environment, I do not want this running immediately. I checked status during use of setup wizard app and the flow gets turned on by default. How do we best avoid this happening?

In the past this was run for all flows that got inventoried so it was a huge API impact. Now, unless you are doing a full inventory, it only will do flows that have been modified in the last week. So its no longer a giant impact flow.
We will hold to consider but I think this is just a change in the documentation to remove that note.

OK. Good to know. But it will then likely run for all flows during the first run? I guess that's what you mean by full inventory.. So I would still look to keep it off until I decide otherwise. Another reason for not wanting to run it yet is the recent bug reported about admin account not being removed as temporary flow owner.

Sorry, thats not clear :) Full inventory is an explicit action where you change an environment variable and run the flows with that variable set. Its a different thing that first install.
So new installs will only get the flows that have been modified in the past week.

@Jenefer-Monroe - Thx for your reply, but still a bit unclear. Can you confirm if a first run after install does a full inventory or not? According to doc it does: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/guidance/coe/limitations#long-running-flows

So, if it does and the flow action details flow is turned on by the wizard app during setup, I suppose it will start a looong running flow that is bound to get throttled. I want to avoid this flow starting up on install. How?

With regards to the flow action details flow, no it never inventories all objects unless you explicitly set the "full inventory" env variable.

Thanks, but I can assume that the other inventory sync flows do run full on first run regardless of this env variable? That's what I read from the doc. Just to be absolutely sure. :-)
