Cannot use ssh:// urls in connection to local git servers

I have my code on a Synology with the Git server installed there.
So far, I cannot use an ssh:// url to connect to the git server on my lan.

Being able to do this would increase my pace of adopting this tool.

Scenario

I have a local git server, I'm not a big github user.
I want to use my local git server to clone and manage repositories, so that code and backups are centrally managed.

I'm expecting to be able to enter the ssh url for my local git server in the url field when you chose to add a repository, and have Dev home know how to do the right thing.
